What to See at the Museum of Vanning
When you visit the Museum you will see everything from real custom show vans to hundreds of toy vans that were sold for fun or used for advertising.
Our displays include jackets and other apparel from some of most famous van clubs in vanning as well as other articles of vanner attire including a unique collection of vanner belt buckles.
The Museum has over 20,000 eVANt dash plaques plus hat pins, flyers, posters, caps & hats, window stickers and patches from thousands of eVANts.
The Library houses copies of almost every van magazine ever published as well as documentation of the history of the National Truck-InĀ®, the National Street Van Association (in North America and abroad), the Council-of-Councils and many of the van organizations that existed over the years. There is also documentation of the development of vans and their influence on our culture over the years. We even have a collection of original van owners manuals and a recreation of a van shop where vanners went to buy parts, add-ons and fixtures for their vans in the days before online shopping, and where, for a fee, a talented mechanic would customize your van to whatever extent you wanted.
The movie theatre screens vintage van movies and other video memorabilia in a comfortable, private setting that also serves as a vistors lounge.
The in-house gift shop is full of collectibles and unique vanning items to either add to your collection or give as vanner gifts. Our on-line gift shop currently offers unique items displaying the Museum Logo and collectible toy vans. It also offers vanning memorabilia donated by vanners around the world.
